KERR PHOTOGRAPHY

I am always out and about looking for that magic moment in the landscape.  The moment that give you that warm fuzzy, the picture that  is different from the others.  In observing the changing landscape, I always try to get "that" picture, the one that  stands out ..a composition that has its own warm fuzzy...that give a feeling which encourages one to take a seccond look...I used to be offended by the use of the phrase "snap shot", because the inventor wanted all other photographers to feel they are not worthy to  discover one or several special moments in their area of photography.  Capturing a snap shot of a moment in time, encourage me to be more aware of the changing landscape, and the special moments that presents itself when I'm out and about.  I get that warm fuzzy when observing and capturing the picture or as some will say, getting a snap shot---"the moment"....a snap shot of a moment in time.  Photography is beautifull, especially a "snap shot" of a beautifull moment in time. I love photography......

There is not a bad landscape in the world...I always have a laugh when the magazines try to boast about the great landscapes they  have published.  When you look into the landscape you can find a composition to suite most taste.....a large beautifully composed landscape generally contain about another 10 percent of individual photographic composition.......the moment...is there waiting for "A" photographer to look into the scape TO DISCOVER  some or maby "the one" photograph that is begging to be shown.  I like reading all the great stuff produced by technical photographers.....without them we will be spending more time discovering instead of photographing.

Looking for technical information when the moment in time shows up in the landscape is too late to capture any kind of acceptable composition..the one that represents your ideas.....your moment in time.  The landscape is always there..it is what each photographer is looking for...never a bad landscape...the moment is not there or you have missed the moment...yet, the landscape is there and although the moment you were looking at has passed....there are more moments to come......those that appeal to your critical eye...those that gives you a warm fuzzy.....the ones you talk about ever chance you get..."while it is there for everyone to view".....

 

Like all photographers. I just love looking for the moment in time....I read somewhere that a photographer once call "the moment in time a snap shot"....I agree,it is a special snap shot of "a moment in time..."

I believe that photography is one of the better way of presenting  present the beauty of the elements within our lives.. Photography has not changed as some people would like us to believe, the way we approach composition, presentation and angles within the photograph  has changed..also, there are more opportunities for great photographers to present their work to a wider world...The internet opened the highway and there is now the opportunity for us to enjoy great and dynamic photography from around the world.. and not just in our own neighbourhood.  In this photographic changing world, we all have the opportunity to present the composition that we believe is of the highest quality.....to present to the viewer our view of "The Moment".  

 

The feeling one gets from a photograph,  is highten by the elements within the composition that makes it stands out......."The Moment" within the composition gives us that warm fuzzzy....The composition, the feel good feedback from the whole picture, although  generialized...is what every photographer strives for.......The showing-off factor, the moment in time, the elements within the photograph that  make the composition stand out.....a personal achievement ...."The photographic landscape which is now presented for your enjoyment and observation"
